Finally, the Poco is about to launch the new Poco smartphone in the Poco line-up which they are calling the ‘X2’.

Previously we heard that Xiaomi discontinued the Poco sub brand and instead of Poco F2 we’re getting the Redmi K20 pro as a flagship killer with the rocking SnapDragon 855 chipset same as the previously launched Poco F1 with killer specs and low budget price tag.
Now they were not all wrong when they said that no F2 will be launching this year. Instead they come up with X2.
Now this phone’s gonna have a 6.67 inches, FHD+ 120Hz smooth display with an odd 20:9 aspect ratio which they’re endorsing with #smoothAF hashtag. Now, if you don’t know the meaning of AF in the hashtag, it’s funny. Also, one link they’ve given which you should check out here http://smoothaf.co.in

No news on the glass protection POCO has gone for though.
We assume they’ll launch Poco X2 (or a superior X2 pro) with an 855+ or atleast they should have if they’re calling it a flagship killer. Otherwise, the G90T chipset already taking the market with great gaming performance and an 845 killer inside the Redmi Note 8 pro. Rumours are X2 is powered with an SD 730G processor with 6GB of RAM. This will blow their chances to capture the market unlike Poco F1. On the software side of things, X2 will come with Android 10 and MIUI 11 skin on top.
Poco X2 will be launching with the 64MP sony IMX 686 sensor with an F/1.89 aperture for primary camera setup with 0.8 micron pixel size. The back also housing an 8MP and two 2MP sensor with F/2.2 and F/2.4 aperture respectively from which one 2MP will be a depth sensing and another one clubbed with a macro lens. While the 8MP will be wide angle. Whereas the front of the phone will be packed with a 20MP selfie shooter along with a 2MP camera with 1.75micron pixel size.
Happily, we are about to see phones coming with Bluetooth v5.0 all along this 2020 and X2 will be one of them. Other connectivity features will be Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, and 4G. On the sensors side we got in-display fingerprint sensor (a capacitive one on the back should be good though) and all other essential sensors (which you guys don’t give a sh*t about).
Now the question is should you go for the POCO X2? Does the X2 worth the wait?
